During the second phase after 2 weeks, the dosage is increased by 20 mcg which is continued until the dosage reaches 100 mcg per day. When the second phase of 2 weeks at 100 mcg per day is complete, the supplement should be avoided for several months.
Clenbuterol is not solely for use by men, it can also be used by women. Women can start with 10 mcg instead of 20 mcg during the 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off cycle. The maximum dosage can be 80 mcg instead of 100 mcg.
Some short term side effects include insomnia, restlessness, sweating and vigorous shaking. In order to avoid insomnia, the drug must be taken in the morning.
Clenbuterol can cause adverse side effects such as tissue buildup around the heart and stroke if an individual exceeds the recommended dosage or uses the drug for a very long period of time.
